EARLY INTERVENTION SERVICES

AGES: 0-4 YEARS OLD

Early Intervention Services are vital to ensure your child's success academically and socially. Here at PEBS-PC we are a contract therapy agency with Simmons Early Intervention Services to provide individualized behavioral therapy to children ages 0-4 years old in an environment most comfortable to the child or the children; for example, home, daycare, etc. Evaluations for the children ages 0-4 years old are conducted free of charge by the Child Development Services Agency commensurate to the county of the child's residence. If the infant through 4-year-old child's evaluation and/or assessment validates a need for services the expenses for NC Medicaid recipients are free, if your child is not receiving NC Medicaid Simmon's Early Intervention Services will provide the expense fee and the payment schedule. Further information is discussed during the initial consultation appointment. 

SCHOOL-AGED CHILD PEER SUPPORT

School-Aged Child Peer Support is a special direct service we provide here at PEBS-PC. History shows us early intervention services are the goal; however, there are some children who were not assessed during their early development years and need a behavior modification program to correct misbehavior or defiance. To respond to this ever growing and challenging need we have a unique program designed for school-aged children. Parents are required to obtain a referral from the child's pediatrician requesting peer support program participation. The expense for the school age program is income-based directly with PEBS-PC. Further information is discussed during the initial consultation appointment. 

SERVICE AREA

We only provide therapy services across the eastern counties of the state of North Carolina.

SESSIONS

There are no virtual sessions unless the child is hospitalized or has an extenuating circumstance. 

All sessions are in-person unless otherwise stated.

REFERRALS

Referrals are accepted via email. Anyone with a vested interest in a child's life success is encouraged to submit a referral. Request for referrals are accepted directly through our website portal or send a confidential email to shalawnd@simmonseitherapy.com. 

PAYMENTS 

Payments via Simmons Early Intervention Services are completed via Simmons Office Personnel.

Payments to PEBS-PC are conducted via direct invoicing.
